In the most stereotypical way, these two do not mesh well together, the punks are notoriously supportive of anarchy. On October 14th the election will be held, and more and more every year, as we grow older, as we teenagers grow up and have more to offer the world. For the time being, we are still youth and we are still looked down upon somewhat, as socially and overall irresponsible. Being said, I think it is important for us to show initiative, show that you care, even if you don’t care. If you want to make a small but important statement, register to vote, show up and mark down a vote for every candidate, this will show that as a youth you have enough time, initiative and focus to come out and vote, but you just don’t give a fuck who wins or loses. On the other hand, if you do care about the political happenings in your country, vote your heart out, vote for the candidate you feel deserves it the most, make a choice you feel will do something progressive for the country and benefit the youth. Being 17, I cannot vote, but please to anyone who is old enough, go vote and do something about this all. I won’t tell you who to vote for, but go and make it happen.
Don’t vote Conservative…
Everything we do is one of two things, action or reaction, do whatever it takes to be both, never be silenced, never let someone else tell you what to believe. We are who we are and noone knows whats best for us except ourselves. Overcome your obstacles, your fears, your greatest failures, be something you never thought you could be. Destroy the walls around you, fight anything that gets in your way, bite the hand that fed you, kill everyone.
